Individualized, comprehensive treatment plans include Suboxone® alongside counseling and recovery services. Eligibility Requirements

Must have diagnosis of opioid dependence that is determined if at least 2 of the following are present:

  • Take opioids in larger amounts or over a longer period than was intended
  • Have a persistent desire or unsuccessful effort to  cut down or control opioid use
  • Spend a great deal of time in activities necessary to obtain the opioid, use the opioid, or recover from its effects
  • Have a craving or strong desire or urge to use opioids
  • Fail to fulfill major role obligations at work, school, or home due to recurrent opioid use
  • Continued use of opioids despite having persistent or recurrent social or interpersonal problems caused by or made worse by the effects of opioids
  • Continue to use opioids even when it is physically dangerous to you
  • Giving up or less participation in important social, occupational, or recreational activities because of opioid use
  • Continue to use opioids even though you know that it is making physical or psychological problems that you already have, worse
  • A need to use more of the opioid to get the desired effect
  • Less of effect when use the same amount of opioid
  • Withdrawal symptoms- nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, runny nose, body aches
  • You take opioids or another substance to keep from having withdrawal symptoms
  • Be interested in treatment for opioid addiction
  • Have no absolute contraindication (known hypersensitivty) to buprenorphine or naloxone
  • Be compliant with treatment
  • Understand risk and benefits of buprenorphine treatment
  • Be willing to follow safety precautions for buprenorphine treatment
  • Agree to buprenorphine treatment after a review of treatment options

Our Process

The first appointment at New Way is typically 2 - 3 hours, and will include a review of the program and discussion of fees and payment. All of your questions will be answered by the knowledgeable administrative and clinical staff to ensure your comfort with the program.
